European Eventing Championships at Strzegom Begins


We have the final list of entries for European Eventing Championships

77 riders from 19 nations will compete in the European Eventing Championships beginning on August 17th. 51 combinations from 13 countries will take part in the team competition and 26 as individuals.







The European Eventing Championships will take place in Poland for the first time, at Strzegom near Wroclaw. Poland will be represented by five riders and their horses: Paweł Spisak on Banderas, Mariusz Kleniuk on Winona, Mateusz Kiempa on Grand Supreme, Michał Knap on Bob the Builder and Paweł Warszawski on Fuksja. These combinations are already training on the Strzegom’s arenas and count on support from the Polish fans during the forthcoming competition.

The best European riders will be competing in the European Championships in Strzegom. Michael Jung, the current European champion and number one in the FEI world ranking, is already here. He has won medals in eight individual competitions in a row and is the only individual to have been the European, World and Olympic champion simultaneously.
