Land owners asked not to put snow into right-of-way of state highways

1807
The North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) and the North Dakota Highway Patrol (NDHP) are requesting landowners not push snow into rights – of way, which includes the roadway, ditch bottom and backslope on state highways. This practice can exaggerate the drifting problems experienced on state highways and can create obstructions for motorists.
State law prohibits a person from obstructing, or causing to be obstructed, any public highway or right of way.
