Parker, CO – June 16, 2017 – The Colorado Horse Park (CHP) is proud to present the 2017 Ride & Learn Series, which offers local and regional equestrians the opportunity to learn and train with some of the sport’s best in a clinic-like atmosphere. Students of equestrian sport can fine-tune their riding skills and improve their technique as knowledgeable riders and trainers constructively critique and educate participating members.

The series will continue with sessions on Monday, June 26, and Tuesday, June 27, featuring Diane Carney as a part of the growing Ride & Learn program at CHP. A Chicago-based grand prix rider, hunter rider, clinician, and USHJA certified trainer, Carney is also very active in the administrative side of equestrian sport, working as an event organizer, commentator, course designer, USEF R judge and serves as a member on the USEF International Disciplines Committee USHJA Board of Directors.

Two upcoming Ride & Learn sessions as The Colorado Horse Park will feature clinicians Diane Carney and Peter Gray.

Carney designed the 2016 ASPCA Maclay Finals course and judged the event alongside Rachel Kennedy. Carney has received the USHJA President’s Distinguished Service Award three times for her involvement in USHJA national programs; first in 2004, for her leadership in forming the USHJA Clinics Program, then again in 2007 for her influence and direction of the International Hunter Derby Program. Carney has also been named as a judge for the 2017 USEF Pony Finals, which will be hosted later this summer in Lexington, KY.
