CROOKSTON, Minn. – The University of Minnesota Crookston hunt seat equestrian team will conclude their 2020-21 regular-season Saturday, April 10 at 1 p.m., and Sunday, April 11 at 9 a.m. The Golden Eagles will host two home shows. They will then host the IHSA Regional Championships following Sunday’s home show. The shows will be hosted at the Charles H. Casey Equine Arena at UTOC.
The Golden Eagles last shows were March 6 and 7 at North Dakota State University. UMN Crookston earned High Point Team accolades in both shows. Minnesota Crookston was guided by Rachel Johnson (Sr., Stillwater, Minn.) earning High Point Rider accolades in the show with NDSU March 6. Kendra Putzke (Fr., Esko, Minn.) claimed Reserve High Point Rider accolades March 7, while Katie Buttolph (Jr., Yankton, S.D.) earned High Point rider. UMN Crookston was the IHSA Regional Champion the last two seasons. They will look to defend their title Sunday.
