Adult Coloring: Let your tensions fade and your creativity soar coloring in beautiful horse scenes by renowned equine illustrator June V. Evers.
Adult Coloring Books are among the Top 10 Best Sellers on Amazon!
CNN reports: “Atop the Amazon bestselling books list this month sat an unexpected title: ‘Secret Garden.’ It wasn’t Frances Hodgson Burnett’s 1911 novel about a sour little girl’s magical place, making a book club comeback. It was a similarly named coloring book that adults were buying, for themselves, and it wasn’t the only one in the top 10.”

June Evers is a graduate of Rhode Island School of Design in illustration and has been drawing horses all her life. Her art can be seen in the many books she has written as well as illustrated: “Anyone Can Draw Horses,” “Mazes & Connect the Dots – Volume1 Horses,” “The Original Book of Horse Treats, The Ultimate Guide to Pampering Your Horse” and “The Wonderful Life of Lola.”
Along the way, she studied with renowned equine illustrator, Sam Savitt.
Evers says, “That was one of the most exciting clinics of my life to study with Sam Savitt! Sam introduced me to the work of Sir Alfred Munnings and Paul Brown. Fabulous!”
She currently is a graphic designer with clients all throughout the horse industry. She also runs Horse Hollow Press which has been in business for 26 years. Started in an apartment in New York City in 1990 when Evers was an art director at an ad agency. Horse Hollow Press is an outlet for her creativity. Products include bumper stickers, decals, window stickers, books, activity kits and greeting cards.
She has been riding all her life. Prior to going to Rhode Island School of Design, she went to Lake Erie College and had a knack for dressage. She now lives with her husband in Goshen, N.Y. in an 1810 historic house with a massive poultry barn – converted to a horse facility. They own three horses who live the life of the “idle rich;” a family joke about the way the horses are accommodated, based on her book “The Ultimate Guide to Pampering Your Horse.” And after all these years, Evers can look out of her office window and watch her horses (all rescues) graze.
