Chicks, Chaps and Chocolate Challenge for Rainbow Meadows

Are you an Adventurist or someone who simply enjoys spending time with your horse doing something fun????  Regardless, we have a GREAT DAY scheduled for you. All proceeds benefit the horses in the Rescue.

Arrive early on Friday evening and participate in a pleasure ride on the Ranch or arrive Saturday morning for a day of horses and horse people enjoying our Challenge Course which includes a 4+ mile trail ride complete with challenges along the route.  Ride alone, or ride with friends.  Eat well!! Laugh lots!!!  Head home Sat. evening after a delicious catered meal or stay another night and enjoy a campfire and Smore’s under the stars in the majestic Osage Hills of Kansas.  For those who stay over, you can participate in a pleasure ride or just spend some time with your horse on our obstacle course on Sunday morning.IT’S ALL UP TO YOU!!! 

We are going to be certain you have Fun, Fun, Fun!!  If you are up for a little competition and awards, we have that for you, too!

Event Schedule

Friday October 27
6:00 p.m. – Early arrival available – camp site set up
7:00p.m. – Optional pleasure ride on the Ranch

Saturday October 28
9:00 – 10:00 a.m. – Continental breakfast
10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. – Practice in our obstacle course OR join a pleasure ride
12:00 – 1:30 p.m. – Catered lunch
2:00 – 6:00 p.m. – Challenge Course (4 mile trail with Challenges and Obstacles)
6:30 – 8:00 p.m. – Catered dinner & awards (for competitive class)
8:30 p.m. – Campfire, Hot Chocolate and S’mores

Sunday October 29
10:00 – 11:30 a.m. – Enjoy an optional pleasure ride or play in the obstacle arena
12:00p.m. – Departure – Please be safe on your drive home.

All horses must have a current Negative Coggin’s (to be presented upon arrival). 

Primitive camping; Generators allowed; NO DOGS; Horse water provided.

All riders under the age of 18 must wear a helmet; helmet use encouraged for ALL.
