CROOKSTON, Minn. – The University of Minnesota Crookston jumping seat equestrian team is set to host a pair of IHSA home meets Saturday, March 4 at 10 a.m., and Sunday, March 6 at 9 a.m., at the Charles H. Casey Equine Arena.

The Golden Eagles last had an IHSA meet with a pair of home meets November 12 and 13 in Crookston. Minnesota Crookston tied for High Point Team during the show November 12. UMN Crookston was guided by first-place rides from Julianna Gullo (Fr., Itasca, Ill.) in Open Fences. Alexandra Wentland (So., Colorado Springs, Colo.), and Gabriella Siefkes (So., Aberdeen, S.D.) took first in Intermediate Fences, while Siefkes took first in Intermediate Flat. Keira Boedigheimer (So., Colorado Springs, Colo.) placed first in Open Flat. Kayle Hines (Fr., Oconto Falls, Wis.) finished first in Novice Flat. In the show on November 13, Boedigheimer took first in Open Flat, while Siefkes took first in Intermediate Flat. Kristen Borchert (Fr., Coon Rapids, Minn.) placed first in Limit Fences.
