Germany’s Calvin Böckmann victorious in the 4* class in Strzegom

Calvin Böckmann with Altair de la Cense wins in the CCI4*-L class, the highest ranked class of Strzegom October Festival.

The podium of the 4*-L was dominated by representatives of Germany. The winner, Calvin Böckmann, was third after dressage, he jumped up to second place after a faultless cross-country, went clear only two seconds over the time in the jumping. The overnight leader, after Sophie Leube on Jadore Moi had two rails down and finished at the second place. Nina Schultes went up into third place from fifth after the cross-country, riding Grand Prix IWEST.

Female riders were the best in the 3*-L. Julia Krajewski (GER) won riding Nickel 21, holding the lead in all three trials. Second place went to Aria Ramkali from Sweden with Flanders, and third to Anna Siemer (GER) with Lillybelle EA.



In the 2*-L, after a double clear in the XC and jumping, the win went to Anna Siemer with A Happy Hour, before Renske Kroeze (NED) with Roxette SPM CH and Germany’s Andreas Dibowski with Creed 5.

Sunday was the last day of rivalry in the short format classes. The best rider of the 4*-S was Sanna Siltakorpi with Bofey Click. She took the lead in the dressage and held onto it until the end. Second went to Polish athlete Paweł Warszawski with Hatteria II, who went up from 8th. Felix Etzel (GER) topped off the podium with Promising Pete TSF.

In the 3*-S Sophie Leube (GER) was unbeatable with Sweetwaters Ziethen TSF. Second place belongs to Felix Vogg (SUI) with Colero, and third to Pietro Grandis (ITA) with Fortune III.
Belgian rider Lara De Liedekerke-Meier with Pumpkin de la Liniere was victorious in the 2* class, after a clear cross-country. She finished before Germans: Julia Krajewski with Ero de Cantraie and Hannah Weinkopf with First-Class 6.

The winner of the 1*-Intro was Germany’s Anton Gerlach aboard Follow Me.

European Youth Eventing Masters

The European Youth Eventing Masters tournament was dominated by Germany, winning competitions in all age categories, individually and as a team. Nicoletta Massmann with Painter’s Igor, Linus Weiss with Astrello, Konstantin Harting with Caspar 6 and Carla Hanser with Castagnola won in the young riders’ category. The latter had the best result in the individual classification.

The winning junior team consisted of: Emely Kurbel with Entertain You, Silva Kelly with Passepartout 65, Paulina Borowitza with Lovinsky and Helena Himstedt with Belinda.  była Zoe Deusing riding Alemania was the best one individually.

Nell Röming riding Marlon 192, Pita Schmid with Sietlands Catrina, Emily Johanna Wolfschmitt with Candyman WE and Marlene Hayessen with Betty Boo 14 won the Pony 2*-L, and the latter was also the individual winner.
