2019 American Gold Cup, presented by CaptiveOne Advisors, LLC, Prize List and Entry Forms Now Available on New and Improved Website
North Salem, N.Y. – July 26, 2019 – Celebrating its eighth anniversary at Old Salem Farm and the event’s 49th year, the 2019 American Gold Cup (AGC), presented by CaptiveOne Advisors, LLC, will return to North Salem, New York, from Sept. 11-15. As of today, the prize list and entry forms are now available to download online on the AGC’s updated website! The new website, which can be found at theamericangoldcup.comwill allow for exhibitors, spectators and partners to easily access information and news about the horse show, as well as stay current on results and other daily happenings.
Exhibitors can also submit entries electronically via Show Management System™. Electronic entries for the 2019 AAGC will open July 31 and close August 23. In addition, FEI exhibitors must also be entered by their national federation into the FEI entry system. Definite entries are due by September 3.
One of the most popular annual show jumping events, the AGC attracts an international field of world-class athletes each year. Competition in 2019 will feature a number of important FEI ranking events, culminating with the prestigious $210,000 Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ – New York CSI4*-W, presented by CaptiveOne Advisors, LLC, on Sunday, Sept. 15, where top athletes will compete for the illustrious American Gold Cup. The AGC will be enhanced by the new CaptiveOne Advisors™ $15,000 Leading Rider Bonus, which will be awarded to the athlete who accumulates the most points in competitions offering $25,000 or more in prize money.
The AGC has been selected as one of only seven events that comprise the East Coast division of the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ North American League. Athletes compete in the league at events all across North America in order to qualify for the prestigious Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ Final to be held in Las Vegas, Nevada, from April 15-19, 2020.
Molly Ashe Cawley and D’Arnita won the $204,000 Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ – New York CSI4*-W in 2018.
In addition, the AGC will feature a full array of jumper classes including divisions for Children and Adult Jumpers, Low, Medium and High Junior/Amateur-Owner Jumpers and the exciting Open Jumpers.
