10th Annual MHARF Trainer’s Challenge Sat., Sept. 16
The 10th Annual MHARF Trainer’s Challenge (featuring the first ever Promise of the Future Training Competition for Young Horses) is a day-long event showcasing horses that have come through the Minnesota Hooved Animal Rescue Foundation rescue program. These horses have been matched with trainers who have been working with them throughout the summer. On the day of the Challenge the trainers will be demonstrating the skills they have taught the horses and will be competing for cash prizes! The horses are then offered at silent auction to pre-approved bidders/adopters.
Lunch available on the premises. Event also features a large silent auction of equine-themed art and decor, MHARF store with new and used tack, gifts, books, t-shirts, and lots of other great stuff, sponsor booths, trainer info, and much more! Entrance fee is $5.00 per person (all ages). Saturday, September 16th at the Leatherdale Equine Center on the U of M St.Paul Campus (1801 West Dudley Avenue, Falcon Heights, MN 55113).
